Born in Barcelona, on 11 August 1976.

Juan is an expert in commercial operations and their taxation (restructuring, awards, acquisitions, etc.), with a special focus on planning for companies and individuals.
He has lectured and taught classes at ESADE University, Ramon Llull University, UIC, the University of Barcelona, the School of Tourism, the ADAMS Centre and the University of Terrassa.

He is a collaborator with the Cukurato Association, president of the Decroly Barcelona Foundation, and participates in and advises other social entities. He is a secretary and advisor to various boards of directors, especially of startups.

Experience

With over 25 years of experience, for 2 years he worked as a lawyer at Uría y Menéndez, Barcelona and Madrid. After working for a year in Guatemala for a foundation, he returned to Spain and joined the firm. He has carried out consultancies for organisations such as the Central American Bank for Economic Integration, the CODESPA Foundation, SETEM, etc.

Training

Holder of a Law Degree and a Master's in Business Law from ESADE University (Ramón Llull), he completed the Senior Management Programme (PADE) at IESE.

About Pablo

Born in Barcelona, on 10 January 1974.

Pablo is an expert in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and cross-border investments, as well as commercial contracts, structural reorganisations and refinancing strategies.

Furthermore, he acts as secretary to various boards of directors. Deeply connected to the business community, he was Vice-President of the International Business Law Commission (IBLC) of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), and an active member of AIJEC Plus within the Catalan Association of Young Entrepreneurs.

Experience

She began her career at Cuatrecasas and subsequently worked as in-house counsel at Torraspapel (Lecta Group). In addition, she headed the mergers and acquisitions department at Legal Link (now Écija) and, prior to joining Busquets, led the Corporate-M&A team at Plana Abogados & Economistas.

Bachelor of Laws from the University of Barcelona and Master of Laws (LLM) in International and Comparative Business Law from London Metropolitan University.

About Alejandro

Born in Barcelona on 6 October 1981.

Alejandro is the main person in charge of advising companies and individuals on commercial expansion processes and in their daily activities.

Experience

Partner and director of the Barcelona office of the international firm SUMMA CONSULTORES. After working, amongst others, within the Civil and Commercial Procedural Law Department of the firm Busquets Abogados, he set up the firm Lexben Advocats, where he was a partner and director of the Lexben International Trade department.

During 2012 and 2013, Alejandro lived in Bogotá (Colombia), from where he advised Spanish companies on their establishment in that country in close collaboration with local lawyers. He has published articles in specialist journals on civil procedural law, international law and foreign trade. He has also delivered seminars on the same branches of law at various institutions, both public and private.

Bachelor of Laws from the Faculty of Law of the University of Barcelona. Postgraduate degree in Civil Litigation from IDEC – Universitat Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona. International Law Programme from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Thessaloniki – Greece). Specialisation in EU and International Business Law from the Barcelona Bar Association. Diploma from the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce (Colombia) in International Business, Foreign Trade and Free Trade Agreements with a special emphasis on the Latin American region.
