{"id":6872,"date":"2025-07-11T16:15:53","date_gmt":"2025-07-11T16:15:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/busquets.legal\/?p=6872"},"modified":"2025-07-14T08:41:35","modified_gmt":"2025-07-14T08:41:35","slug":"what-comes-before-an-investment-agreement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/busquets.legal\/en\/que-hay-antes-de-un-acuerdo-de-inversion\/","title":{"rendered":"What comes before an investment agreement?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before formalising an investment through the corresponding agreement, and of course prior to the due diligence to be carried out by the investor, it is usual and highly recommended that the parties sign a document to set out their intentions which, depending on its scope and form, is structured through a letter of intent (LOI), a memorandum of understanding (MoU) or a term sheet, which are referred to in English due to the influence of Anglo-Saxon law.
