Last Friday, July 21, 2023, was published in the BOE the ministerial order that regulates both the criteria and the procedure for the certification of emerging companies or Startups.
The National Innovation Company (ENISA), the body designated to assess the status of startups, has already opened the window to apply for such certification under Law 28/2022, of December 21, on the promotion of the startup ecosystem, known as the Startups Law.
Those entrepreneurs who wish to avail themselves of the benefits and specialties of said law, must request ENISA to evaluate the condition of their company in accordance with the legal criteria, such as the business project, its degree of innovation, the stage of life of the company or the personal team, among others.
